You see, it's even harder to share your idea, thinking someone might steal it. This is another reason why you would take years and even more. As a beginner, it is going to be hard to figure and simplify things out. Non-programmers always have sophisticated app ideas, hands down. I knew about it peripherally but gawd damn I need to do it like right now just to get my own project up and running lol I am just understanding now how I need to package my data into JSON objects just to stream data correctly through ajax requests. There is a LOT of information on software development in this area and you can/will get overwhelmed. But that in itself is frustrating to me because you then spend time learning about this one random technology that you might not even realize hinders what you want your end product to be so you were better off learning the fundamentals of creating an app from scratch in the first place. I will say that the people who say it is easy in this thread are saying that because they know there are technologies that they have used that basically invent the basics of an app from scratch for you that you then build on top of. More experienced programmers have heard every idea under the sun and don't care to steal an idea because they're usually too busy as it is. Talk to a programmer about your idea, more than likely they can point you in the right direction on what to do and how to go about it. To put it simply, if you really believe in the idea, learn how to make it anyway. Learning back end and how to send stuff back and forth is difficult. It's fuckin hard and I knew a significant amount of front end development.
